Finally she is also shown as a modern woman because of how she made Steed go and get his own coffee at her apartment and says "the cream is in the fridge" to act bigger than going to make his tea.

8. As we see the start of the episode of cuffs we see a fight and we hear non-diegetic noise of a news conference that is happening elsewhere. This creates the feeling that the police at the news article don't understand what is happening down at the beach.
